Session 7

  1. On the evening of December 27 the party arrived at Danrock where the local Baillif explained the situation.
  2. The evening of the next day the following facts had been established:
  • One of the two accused witches, old Constance, claims to communicate with a man she calls Thomas Rheid, a nobleman killed in a battle several years ago. He has been giving her information on several matters and she claims that he belongs now to a group of fairies.
  • The village of Little Danrock was plagued by a group of vampires, the original source of which was Emily Cosworth, who had been buried there, on the lands of her ancestors 3 years ago. Despite that fact Emily became active as a vampire only recently, after her ghost was released by its curse in Steinfeld Abbey.
  • The original vampire was fought and defeated, but a ritual revealed that more infected vampires remained buried.
  • Old Constance offered a way to locate the remaining vampires. Lord Carlisle was willing to attempt it, but father Roth did not approve.
3.  On the evening of the 29th they decided to camp near the cemetary, keep guard and rest, until they decide.
4.  The Baillif is anxious about what he is going to report to Falkirk.
