Sessions 8-9

• The situation in Danrock was resolved. Constance was allowed to go free and the Vampire of Emily Cosworth was accused for everything in the Bailiff's report.
• Constance secretly gives predictions to Beric, Roth and Royk.

• Back in Falkirk the party returned to find the Assize against the 84 conspirators had finished.

1. Astrologer Grahame was posthumously accused of Heresy , Witchcraft and Treason.
2. Several among the 84 were accused with Witchcraft for holding a coven in the Bent Kirk in Lamert, but no signs of Treason against the King were revealed. The rest were found innocent.
3. Only Ewfame Macalyene reveals that there is a conspiracy against the king's life. Her confession is used to condemn the rest and is not investigated further.
4. The King overruled the decision condemning every one of the accused to death by burning alive for the first time in history. The Assize members are accused of Willful error and imprisoned (John Stearne among them).

•  Killian Blake who was asked by Stearne to search Beric's boat is found and after being told to research the Macalyene disappears from the city.

• The Party researches the situation and reveals:

1. Macalyene's husband is Admiralty Burgess Johannes who was also part of her Assize. He voted to condemn her.
2. Macalyene was assassinated in prison before she could speak with father Roth. Her dead body revealed that everyone who will attend the coronation will be killed by the "knights".
3. Johannes is imprisoned with the rest of the Assize.
4. It is revealed that in the admiralty he used his influence to transport a great amount of gunpowder to the coronation chapel. The gunpowder is hidden under the chapel, guarded by two men from the west.
5. Kramer and the Queen will not attend the coronation due to her being pregnant.
6. In the admiralty it is revealed that Kramer is expecting a ship from Fyn on the day of the coronation.
7. The lords and Vice Admiral Wallace are summoned to the house of Carlisle to be informed of the discoveries.
8. The lords are to muster their troops, Wallace to intercept the boat and the party to try and foil the gunpowder incident.
9. The chapel is stormed under the directions of the party and the two guardians surrender.
10.  Johannes hangs himself in prison confessing the gunpowder incident. Father Roth's absolutely awesome ritual in the cell reveals that Kramer ordered him to do so, to rescue their project. Kramer was anxious to prove something to those coming in the ship whom he calls the "Holy Gate"
11. The King is informed of the events and the involvement of Kramer, but no proof can be provided.
12. The coronation takes place in Falkirk and the King announces he will not instantly meet the parliament as is customary. The lords are uneasy about his decision, but carlisle claimming that there is probably a foreign threat against the country manages to hold them back for now.
13. The ship arrives in port. Kramer leaves the palace and moves to the estate of the Fynnian Ambassador, where he withdraws with the norsemen.
14. The king sends Royk to contact the Fynnian ship, that is held at port.
15. Royk meets with them and learns they are a Purifier order known as the Knight of the Holy Gate. They have been summoned by Kramer, who is the commander of another Order, the Harangian Guard, populated solely by converted norsemen.
16.  They do not know what Kramer is planning, but the Gate as the supreme purifier order in the East has been summoned by him to be shown something after the coronation.
17. The King, for a seemingly unclear reason decides to send the regiment of Carlisle to bring Kramer to him. Since Kramer left he has been unable to contact him.
18. Carlisle with the help of the party and two more regiments storm the estate, kill the norsemen who fight to the death and arrest Krammer. Several items are found in his possession.
