Session 5

December 19 -- The party is met by witch hunter John Stearne and are informed of the following things:
  • the King has summoned them to Falkirk (capital of Ygdree)
  •  Stearne has uncovered a cult in Kingsport that sold magical items. One of those sold to a Falkirk recipient was Kezia Mason's head.
  •  The King has arrived with his bride from Fynn, his voyage was foiled by a terrible storm.
  •   He has a new advisor on matters of witchcraft (Heinrich Kramer of Fynn), has learned about them from Stearne's pamphlet about the events in Kingsport.
  •  Heinrich Kramer believes that Kezia Mason's head is used by Cognitarian conspirators that try to overthrow the King.
  • A fleet of Cartegan ship is sailing against Falkirk and Kramer believes that Kezia's head will be used to create a storm against the Ygdrian fleet.
  • Kramer want to go with them to the battle and try and capture the witch that uses Kezia's head.
December 22 -- The party arrives at Falkirk. They meet with the king and agree to take Kramer on their ship to the battle the next day.
They also give the page of the Lemegeton to Kramer, who promises to destroy it.
December 23 -- The battle is fought and won. Kezia does not appear.

On their return to Falkirk, the court Astrologer is recognised as one of the men that gathered outside Benton Kirk on the night of the New Moon.
Vice Admiral Walace admit to them in secret that he used help from the Astrologer to capture the Treasure Galleon Santa Anna.
Kramer's lodging at a local shurch owned guest house have been broken in, and several things stolen. Kramer is outraged.
