- After the deaths of Lord ROyk and Oteroa, due to a Simulationist-Narrtivist Friction incident (according to the GNS theory) the group entered the Niddhorg Pass.
- Inside they located the inscitpion of Dvalin teaching the nature of the world.
- They were contacted by Har claiming to be Dain and later located a troll that guarded the ritual in the name of Idun and defeated it.
- The ritual was broken and Dvalin (connected with the dragon Niddhorg) along with Har himself were freed.
- Back at the ship the captain was met by a member of the Hand of God, claimming to work at least partly indipendently from the Magnus and requesting that Beric cooperates with De la Torre in the interest of not allowing one nation to aquire great strength through the use of Opium.
- On the way to Lothian the group was met by De la Torre who offered them a box containing an imprisoned Tengu with information from the east.
- Back in Lothian the ship was awated and a great celebration organised where a statue to Lord Royk was revealed.
- Beric informed the King that he wishes to return to the north to finalize the opium trade agreement, offering the king 2 million pounds in opium, as the crown's and investor's share from the agreement.
- In Falkirk it was established that Wallace has moved the gold of Santa Anna to Leuwaarden, a small independent country where most of the Kingsport merchants fled after the distabilisation of Kingsport.
- Both Lothian and Cartegan are stalking the area around th small country
- Before the expedition's deprture the king hurriedly Dethmolt Ves, the Queen protector and last official Fynnian connection and Wallace to Beric's crew.
- Wallace managed to convince Beric to allow him to join the fleet heading for Leuwaarden against the King's command.
- The expedition paused in an islet to try and interogate the Tengu.
