Session 27

• The Group that entered the forest encounter a figure known as Matryuska (bearing the characteristics of a dead Orc mother), that spoke to Mulghragh and, after inquiring about his identity and clarifing he came from the south announced to him that she "will take him somewhere and show hiim what the man with carved face did."
• The group found itself inside a deeep fog and found its way to a large lake, where, crossing a ford, they arrived on a small island.
• Upon the island there the hut and mummiufied body of an ancient orc mother, possibly thousands of years old. The scene had evidently been distorted within the last 50-60 years by someone who decapitated the mummified body, broke into the the hut, rammaged through it and stole something that used to hung from the wall.
• The paths leading away from the place twisted back into themselves, but using four yarns of magical wool they found in the hut, the group escaped.
• In their way they came across a group of Orcs, fighting several Goat Fathers around the hut of another mutilated orc mother, much more recent this time.
• They helped the Orcs, who told them forest is not safe anymore since Matryuska attacks all the Orcs that enter. 
• They took them to their city of Cherdyn. There they learned the recent history of the Orcs and of the Shaman.
•  The shaman met them and, impressed by Mulghragh's ability to cross the forest in only one month, without being slain by Matryuska, offered him the leadership of the Horde and sent him to slay Matryuska.
