- Mulgragh learned that Har forged his sword to defeat the human thieves of the Runes, that were kept under Grettir's throne. The sword was given to Sigurd, Grettir's son, who went south to retrieve the knowledge of the runes from the humans. When he returned, feeling that Har had betrayed him, trying to deny him his warrior's death, he gave the runes to the norsemen, who use them today widely.
